Quick Easter Basket Cookies

Ingredients:

-1 roll of Pillsbury sugar cookie dough

-1 Container of White Pillsbury Icing (unless you prefer to make your own!)

-1 Pack of Easter Color M&M's

-Green Food Dye

Directions:

1. Separate dough into roughly 2 tablespoon balls
2. Lightly grease mini cupcake pan
3. Smash out dough balls, forming a little bucket into each cupcake groove
4. Bake according to package directions, watching closely!
5. Once cooled, twist the cookie cups to remove. 
6. Fill cups with green dyed icing 
7. Place colored M&M's on top!
8. Enjoy with friends and family!

DIY Eggsciting Easter Mason Jars

DIY Eggsciting Easter Mason Jars

Supplies: To Make 7 Candy Jars

• 3 packs of 12ct. "Bunny" Peeps
• 1 Bag of Robin Eggs
• 4 Bags of Jelly Beans ( I used the classic brand Brachs)
• (7) 16oz. Mason Jars
• 1ftX1ft piece of burlap
• paint sharpies
• twine
• recycled paper

Directions: This is a pretty self explanatory DIY!

1. Layer the bottom of all jars with a thin layer of robin eggs
2. Followed by 5 peeps standing up around the edges (I rotated with multi-colors)
3. Fill the interior and remaining top of jar with jelly beans
4. Place the flat lid down and lay a 4X4 piece of burlap across it
5. Slowly screw down the ring
6. Decorate paper cards however you wish and tie on with twine.
7. Share with friends!

Folding Chairs Redo

Folding Chairs Redo

Supplies Used:
-(2) folding chairs
-(2) square pieces of fabric (size depends on chair cushion)
-spray paint (color of choice)
-staple gun/wood staples
-Acetone

This Folding Chair Redo was definitely the definition of trash to treasure! We actually found these in the attic at our grandma's house where they had absolutely no use. :( Today, we use them all the time and get tons of compliments!

Steps to Redo:
1. We began by punching out the cushion seats of the chairs and setting them aside.
2. Next we cleaned the chairs well with acetone. This helped get off any stains before spray painting.
3. We then spray painted two coats of paint on each folding chair.
Tip: Make sure you fold the chairs in between coats to make sure you covered the spots in between the fold.
4. While the spray paint dried, we began upholstering the seat cushions.

For our seats we chose to leave the previous leather on there since it really didn't make since to rip it off. We then placed our fabric squares on the cushion, pulled them tight to the back, and stapled them down. Go ahead and use as many staples as you need. It's best to use too many than not enough. ;) Feel free trim away any extra fabric AFTER you staple it down.

5. Once the paint is dry and your upholstery is complete, reassemble your folding chairs and you're done!

Here is the exact spray paint color I used!

DIY Bathroom Organizer

DIY Bathroom Organizer

Supplies:
-17inch piece of wood
-Special Walnut Stain
-foam brush
-(4) 16oz Mason Jars (rings/lids not needed)
-(4) Galvanized 6inch Clamps
-(4) screws
-power drill
-flat head screwdriver


Instructions:
1. To begin this project you need to stain your 17 inch piece of wood. (Allow this stain to dry overnight before moving to the next step.)
2. Evenly space out your 4 clamps on your wood and drill them down with your screws and a power drill.
3. Place your mason jars on the clamps and securely fasten them on with a flathead screwdriver. (If you have extra steel hanging off, you can cut it with wire cutters.)
4. Time to hang! I used screws to hang my organizer although I'm sure strong command strips would also work!

Shabby Makeup Vanity Redo

Even found a vanity mirror at a yard sale and painted it to match!

LOVE these knobs!

This Shabby Makeup Vanity Redo was a very fun and modern piece to create! We found this at a yard sale where it was originally an ugly green colored desk with rusty knobs. We then transformed this into the perfect bedroom makeup vanity!


Supplies Used:
-indoor paint (color of choice)
-foam brushes
-Clear Glitter Gloss
-Sander
-Acetone

Steps to Redo:
This was a very simple redo so I am going to briefly summarize how we completed it. We began by sanding the entire desk to remove the original color. Next we removed the knobs and cleaned them thoroughly with acetone. Because we are fans of keeping things antique, we decided just to spray clear glitter gloss on the knobs. We then painted two coats of our mint blue paint on the desk.

DIY Candy Jar

Supplies:

-fish bowl (I found mine at Dollar Tree.)

-5inch Terra Cotta Clay Pot/matching saucer

-hot glue gun/glue sticks

-spray paint (color of your choice/see my exact color below)

Instructions:

1. Make sure both Terra Cotta Pot and Saucer are 100% dry before beginning.

2. Spray paint outside of saucer and pot.

3. Let dry and repeat step 2 until completely covered.

4. Hot glue base of fish bowl to the bottom of the pot.

*this will take a lot of glue*

5. Let it dry overnight.

DIY Business Card Holder

Supplies:
-Half Pint (8 oz) Mason Jar (lid not needed, but ring is)
-2 spray paint colors of your choice

Instructions:
1. Be sure your jar is dry before beginning.
2. Spray paint OUTSIDE of jar with one color and let dry.
3. Spray paint ring of mason jar with your second color and let dry.
*I only did one coat of paint, but you might need two.*
4. Allow it to dry overnight and enjoy!

Tip: It is somewhat hard to screw lid back on mason jar so mine is just loosely sitting on top. :)
